HIKKU

HIKUU is matcha, redefined. Quality and authenticity sit at the core, paired with a strong belief in intentional, long-lasting design. Nothing overdone. Nothing trend-led. Just thoughtful products that bring a quiet sense of luxury to the everyday. The brand draws on the feeling of haiku—small moments that hold meaning—and the wabi-sabi philosophy of simplicity, natural form, and quiet imperfection.

‍

The visual identity embraces this, led by a restrained palette and tactile finishes like textured papers and gentle embossing. Disjointed secondary type becomes a consistent thread, echoing the rhythm and interruption of haiku poetry.

‍

Every detail is considered, yet softened—meant to be felt as much as seen. The logomark subtly reflects two cups meeting in a shared moment, with the “uu” isolated as an icon. The result is a brand that slows the pace, invites pause, and allows the product—and the ritual—to speak for itself.
