Big Beauty Store

East London-based Big Beauty store is at the forefront of sustainable beauty. This campaign challenges the usual Christmas tropes by instead creating an atmosphere of calm. Inspired by Japanese forest bathing (shinrin-yoku)—the practice of immersing in nature—textural close-up shots ground the user experience, encouraging mindful consumption.

Big Beauty Store

The challenge was to create a campaign that integrates seamlessly
into the Big Beauty store, capturing the interest of passersby and loyal customers while reflecting the brand’s commitment to mindfulness
and sustainability.

A key consideration was using recyclable printed materials that still felt immersive within the space. The campaign needed to break from typical Christmas marketing clichés, instead cultivating an atmosphere of calm and contemplation.

The solution embraced the therapeutic practice of Japanese forest bathing, using close-up images of natural textures and foliage to create
a sensory connection between product and nature.

To meet sustainability goals, the installation was constructed using corrugated double board. Hidden product crops within the visuals encourage customers to explore more deeply, fostering engagement.
